Viera Builders has an opening for a full time, hourly paid Design Lead who will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process, from scheduling to the submission of design selections. Regularly reviewing and providing feedback to ensure consistency among all design coordinators. Solving complex design problems and presenting clear solutions. In the absence of the director, this person serves as the primary point of contact. In addition, the Design Lead's responsibility includes the following:

High school diploma required. Some college in the area of Design preferred. Five years of experience in Design or industry related experience required. Experience in new home construction and team management preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong office technology skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook). Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that each design coordinator delivers consistent facts and messages to buyers. Make sure the design coordinators' PowerPoint presentations are updated with any changes. Keep design coordinators informed about ongoing changes, price increases, and any other factors that may affect buyers. Schedule product knowledge sessions to ensure that design coordinators are well-informed about the products.
- Order bi-parting gifts. Manage financial matters, including design expenses and invoices.
- Assist with overseeing the maintenance of the design studio. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the design studio.
- Ensure that design selections displayed on the floor are appropriately labeled and accurately presented. Oversee the accuracy of pre-construction PowerPoint presentations. Update the design catalog regularly. Contribute to the reduction of errors in paperwork.
- Manage the new Community rollouts. Develop and refine exterior pallets. Collaborate and communicate with design firms for model homes. Provide additional assistance as needed.
