Warranty Coordinator

Viera Builders, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of A. Duda and Sons, Inc. is seeking a Warranty Coordinator who will be primarily responsible for coordinate the warranty activity of the customer service department and providing excellent customer service to new home buyers of newly built homes after closing while reporting to the Warranty Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Warranty claim management
  • Fielding warranty questions from homeowners and apply experience and judgement in the interpretation and application of guidelines established by Customer Service Manager
  • Receive homeowner calls and e-mails for warranty service
  • Gather warranty service request information
  • Maintain detailed log of all warranty service requests
  • File daily summaries
  • Review service request against closing dates and the warranty manual
  • Schedule warranty service work with homeowners, field personnel, and trade contractors
  • Complete all warranty service requests with in ten working days
  • Ensure the repairs meet the company’s quality standards and the homeowner is satisfied

Basic Skills & Abilities:

  • Time Management – strong skills managing your own time and the time of others
  • Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
  • Communication Skills – must have the ability to listen to, understand and communicate information and ideas presented through spoken or written words and sentences - this includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Critical Thinking – use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems


  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Demonstrated customer service
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in new home construction is preferred
