Duda Farm Fresh Foods is seeking a Senior Safety Specialist to support the Food and AG business unit at our Belle Glade facility and other locations. The Senior Safety Specialist will serve as a key partner to site leadership, driving a proactive safety culture and continuously improving workplace safety performance. This position will also play a critical role in identifying hazards, recommending corrective actions, and monitoring the effectiveness of safety initiatives across multiple sites.

The Senior Safety Specialist will serve as a key partner to site leadership, driving a proactive safety culture and continuously improving workplace safety performance. This position will also play a critical role in identifying hazards, recommending corrective actions, and monitoring the effectiveness of safety initiatives across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify workplace hazards and recommend effective mitigation strategies
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve company-wide safety programs and initiatives
- Lead thorough incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs to employees at all levels
- Perform regular audits of the Belle Glade facility and other company locations
- Collaborate with management and operations teams to develop, update, and maintain Emergency Action Plans
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies, procedures, and best practices
- Serve as the primary liaison with external consultants, auditors, and regulatory agencies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Associate degree
- 5+ years of experience in occupational safety, preferably within food and agriculture, manufacturing, or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements
- Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
- English required; bilingual Spanish preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Regular bending, standing, and walking
- Field and facility work required
- Overnight travel to other locations may be required
