The Florida-based corporation has production and shipping operations in Florida, California, Arizona, Michigan and Georgia with additional domestic and international locations.

Duda Farm Fresh Foods, is currently looking for an Operations Manager to join our operations team at our SCCOOP facility located in Iron City, GA. This position will oversee all operational facets including activities being conducted by SCCOOP as well as Duda’s tray packing operations being conducted in the same facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Custom Planting – Manage personnel and equipment conducting the planting of sweet corn planting schedules; maintain accurate records of all plantings, location, variety, seed usage, and estimated maturity dates.
Harvest Coordination – Coordinate daily harvesting activities for all sweet corn acreage shipping to SCCOOP facility for cooling, sale, and shipping including internal and external contractors.
Facility Management – Oversee personnel and all aspects of the operations at the SCCOOP facility ensuring that all protocols for corn receiving, inspection, and cooling are followed; implement both food safety and facility safety programs as assigned.
Coordinate with Dandy Cooling personnel to ensure product is available and customer orders are filled in a timely and accurate manner.
Tray Pack Operations – Act as location management for the Duda tray pack corm room at SCCOOP; oversee local supervision to ensure product schedules are achieved while following proper safety and food safety protocols; coordinate machine maintenance as needed; ensure that premium quality product is available to fill every scheduled order.
Reporting – Provide the timely reporting of data supporting cost, production, and other financial reports.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Overnight Travel may be required.
Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree
Five or more years in agricultural operations management, sweet corn production, packinghouse operations, preferred
Certifications in areas of Food Safety, HACCP, General Safety, preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; General office administration; Excellent time management skills.
Keen attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills required.
Valid State of GA driver’s license.
