Maintenance Lead Person   2nd and 3rd Shift

Job Summary

Coordinates and oversees activities of the department to provide a safe working environment, deliver high quality maintenance performance. Follows industrial safety procedures and food safety standards.

The main obligations of this position are the following:

Reports and update maintenance manager on a daily basis.

Ensures that all internal customer requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.

Communicates effectively with internal customers and external contractors.

Ensures the preventive maintenance program is up to date.

Ensures all inventory and spare parts are stocked and replenished in a timely manner.

Ensures safe work practices by following safety rules and regulations.

Ensures all maintenance personnel conducts daily safety inspections of all line equipment and report any findings to maintenance management.

Report any unsafe act or unsafe condition to maintenance manager or labor provider representative.

Ensure all maintenance personnel follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.

Ensures that company policies and procedures are being followed in a consistent manner.

Ensures all new employees receive the proper technical and safety trainings to perform all responsibilities effectively.

Ensures all maintenance personnel are continually provided with appropriate job-related training and education such as tailgate meetings, ect.

Ensures all line personnel uses the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Must be able work weekends, with rotating days off schedule.

 Must be able to work overtime when required.
